Bionic Commando Remake!
Bionic Commando is a cult classic game, originally released for the NES years and years ago. The game saw you take control of the titular character, who utilized a nifty bionic arm capable of stretching long distances. This element of gameplay was fused with the traditional platform genre to create a dynamic new game. The good news is that Bionic Commando is set to return to our screens this year!
Having been framed, Nathan Spencer is ready to face execution for a crime he didn't commit. However, events take a turn for the worse when the city is gripped in a deadly terrorist attack. Enter Nathan, back to his old heroics in a bid to save the city from total destruction. When Nathan encounters enemies, he has many abilities at his disposal with which to eliminate such threats. The game's physics allow for a number of ways to interactive with and manipulate the scenery around you, mostly in an offensive manner. Add to this a whole host of advanced weaponry and Nathan is ready to take on all comers.
Multiplayer makes a welcome addition to this title, with developers Capcom having added a number of little quirks which work extremely well in-game, such as characters shooting over their shoulders when pursued, the ability to fire at people in midair as they are swinging around, and even use sniper rifles to take people out from a distance.
After years in development, this title is sure to please old and new fans alike come its release in Summer 2009!
